Here we are again…. back from an AWSOME holiday on the Bahamas and Miami! We spent about a week on one of the bahamas islands, and also a week in Miami in combination with “the keys”.

Our journey started in Amsterdam, our airline was “martinair” which brought us directly to Miami airport. After a 9 hour flight, we stayed in a local “next to the airport” hotel. Next day we took a plane to Naussau, which is the capital of the Bahamas…….we landed…and it rained !! Lucky lucky: it was only for 10 minutes, after that the sun was shining, the palmtrees fluttered around and everyone was smiling again..

We had a lot of fun there, we also stayed in very nice hotels, and one day we visited the atlantis hotel!
We were “visitors” in the hotel and not “guests”, because this hotel in one of the biggest hotel/resorts in the world, so it’s too expensive to rent a room there. (price starts at USD 289.00 per night, and the most expensive one was USD 25,000 with a minimum stay for 4 nights!!)

If you want only access to the swimmingpools and waterparc (which was the BIGGEST which I have ever seen!), it will cost you USD 155.00 per day!

So the best tip I can give u: book the hotel next to it (USD 80.00 per night), get a badge, and go to the atlantis hotel with full access to all facilities!! We did, and it was well worth!! It is called a once in a lifetime experience, but if I have a second change in my life, I will take it!

After the bahamas, we returned to Miami were we stayed in a hotel on “Miami south beach” in a street next behind “oceandrive”: a very expensive street which is famous because a lot of rich people are showing their money (expensive cars, high fashion dressed, big fake tits and too much muscular guys with golden teeth..

Anyway it was a very nice experience.

The last 2 days we rent a car and visited a place called “keywest” which is a very nice city located in the most south area of america (USA only).

Hallo allemaal, hierbij een berichtje van ons uit het prachtige miami!
Onze reis is begonnen op de bahamas, wat een super eiland!
Bounty strandjes, veeel palmbomen en een hoop BIG mama’s haha (ze noemen zichzelf daar ook bahamamamma’s)
Helaas hadden we geen bereik met onze telefoons daar, dus daarom hadden we ook geen berichtje kunnen sturen..

Dit is onze tweede dag in Miami, gisteren zijn we wezen stappen met een paar Nederlanders in een peperdure club, een leuke ervaring opzich! (veel gedronken, alleen kost een biertje 8 dollar en een mixje vanaf 12 dollar!)

Er rijden hier een hoop ferrari’s en bently’s verder lopen er veel schaars geklede dames (met TE groot gehalte aan nepvoorgevels) en opgepimpte mannen met goude tanden.
We hebben net een normale hamburger met friet en drinken besteld waarvoor we 37 dollar hebben moeten neertellen.

Over een paar daagjes vertrekken we met een gehuurde auto richting keywest (en misschien ook nog de everglades..).

Two weeks ago we went to the north of holland to the state called “friesland”.
When the ocean is on low-level, it’s possible to walk from the top of holland to an island in the north-sea called “amenland”.

We did this trip in 3 or 4 hours… it was very heavy, but it was a very nice experience!

Allready back from a very nice snowboard trip to france.
Tignes was great! The area starts at 2100m, and will go up to 3488m!

The snow condition was very good and the weather was very hot !
(everyday: full sun!)
I’m very happy with my new board, it’s very stable and it will move fasttttt from the mountains..

We have booked a new trip to france!
In my previous posting I said that we where going to val thorens, but we like new area’s so we choose for tignes!

It’s almost even far driving as val thorens..
The snow conditions are very very good right now (260m on top, 155m in the village..).

Im veryyyyy curious about my new board, Tignes here we come!
